STOKE MANDEVILLE HOSPITAL
Enterprise Healthcare, a consortium consisting of Alfred McAlfred Investments, Sodexho and HSBC Infrastructure, has contracted to deliver the new Stoke Mandeville Hospital PFI project. This contract includes a £40m construction project comprising a new build and refurbishment which will remodel the existing site and provide revised functional content including:
- 110 beds (including Acute, Elderly and Rehabilitation)
- Day Case Unit including Theatres
- Maternity
- Pharmacy
- Burns Unit
- Coronary Care Unit
A full range of hard and soft FM services are to be provided and service delivery will commence in parallel with the 21-month construction programme. The scheme is one of the pilots for the "Retention of Employment" model. Following financial close in May 2004 CorLa is now providing a full range of SPV Management services for the delivery of the project.
