Distilled, our approach comprises:

Stage 1 we gain control of documentation, reporting and performance measurement across the portfolio. The key objective here is to provide continuity and a resilient, streamlined approach to all key aspects of data collection and reporting. This creates a control environment that delivers certainty of meeting all contract and governance requirements. It also seeks to identify opportunities for rationalisation and simplification across the portfolio.

Stage 2 we conduct a structured analysis across the portfolio to identify opportunities for value improvement. The starting point for this is to test the project structure and metrics against our matrix of 24 generic improvement areas and to use this as the basis for developing a bespoke value enhancement plan for your portfolio or individual project.

Stage 3 is to make these value enhancement plans real. They are, by necessity, structured to set:

• short-term (up to 1 year),
• medium-term (1 to 3 years), and
• long-term objectives and targets.

The medium and long term objectives need structured, ongoing plans of work to ensure that resources are properly allocated and that targets are achieved. We work closely with your supply chain and other advisors to create robust, deliverable plans.

Stage 4 we support and help drive the implementation of Stage 3 and monitor its successful delivery on your behalf.
